Frequently Asked Questions

Our AI analyzes multiple technical indicators to provide probability-based insights. While no system can predict markets with 100% accuracy, our AI combines RSI, MACD, volume patterns, and other indicators to identify statistical probabilities. Always do your own research and consider multiple factors before making investment decisions.

Market data is automatically updated daily from Polygon.io S3 flat files. The Data Manager page shows the last update time and allows manual updates if needed. Real-time prices may have a 15-minute delay depending on your data subscription.

StockPickerAI supports:
  • US Stocks: All major exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ, etc.)
  • Forex: Major currency pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, etc.)
  • Cryptocurrency: Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other major cryptos
  • Options: US stock options data

StockPickerAI is designed for technical analysis and can be used for day trading, swing trading, or long-term investing. However, our data refresh rate and the nature of technical indicators make it more suitable for swing trading and position trading. Day traders should supplement with real-time data feeds and level 2 quotes.

The AI Score (0.0-1.0) combines multiple factors:
  • 0.8-1.0 (Very Strong): Multiple bullish signals aligned
  • 0.6-0.8 (Strong): Mostly positive indicators
  • 0.4-0.6 (Moderate): Mixed signals
  • 0.2-0.4 (Weak): Mostly negative indicators
  • 0.0-0.2 (Very Weak): Multiple bearish signals
Use AI Score as one factor among many in your decision-making process.
